Children's passports, new or renewal, are applied for on paper, and a parent or guardian attends with the child. This can't be done as a digital renewal, so it needs a paid consultation. Here is what we do for you:

We apply for you and deliver to your door.
What you send us
- A clear image of your current passport
- Your Jamaican birth certificate or citizenship certificate
- A digital passport photo. No certification needed

PICA needs to know from the start, so choose now.
The courier fee is added by PICA and confirmed before you pay.
PICA sets the final fee, which depends on the country you apply from. We confirm it with you before you pay. By proceeding you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
How it works
- You send us your documents and photo.
- We check them against PICA's rules, including the photo, before applying.
- We make the application, pay PICA and send you the receipt.
- We track it and keep you updated until the passport is delivered. Usually 7 to 14 business days, courier included.
Good to know
How long does it take?
A digital renewal usually arrives in 7 to 14 business days, courier included. PICA handles processing and the courier handles delivery, so we can't promise a date. Start well ahead of any travel.
Can I renew before it expires?
Yes, once it has expired or has less than a year left. With more than a year left, PICA requires a paper renewal, and we can help through a consultation.
Can I renew from overseas?
Yes. If you qualify for a digital renewal, we apply for you from anywhere and the passport is couriered to you. PICA does not offer expedited service to overseas applicants.
Are PICA's fees refundable?
No. PICA's fees are paid to the agency and are non-refundable. Our service fee is separate and is covered in our Terms & Conditions.
