PICA’s citizenship fees
The fee is waived if you previously held a Jamaican passport. Fees last checked October 2026 and can change without notice.
Your part
- You lodge your own application with PICA, in Jamaica or through a consulate. PICA decides every case.
- Tell us what you know about your parent or grandparent: names, dates and parish.
- RGD and PICA fees are non-refundable once paid. Our fee is covered in our Terms & Conditions.
Grandparents count too
There is no generation limit, as long as every link in your family line can be documented. That’s usually where a record search comes in.
